Hallo,
ich bin neu hier.
Ich habe eine X800.
Muss ich eine neue SW einspielen, um ORF hell zu machen? Oder genüt die Aktivierung über ein Menü?
Ich habe noch kein RS232 Kabel.

Yes, I think the best way to get ORF (not only, but also Premier...) is to update Software version. The latest one for Openbox receivers at the moment is 5.33. Btw, of course for this you should get null modem cabel...
To activate emulator in your stb, just press MENIU-1117...and at the bottom of screen you will see EMULATOR (switched ON or OFF)

Its mean your receiver still is with original firmaware..Ok, now you need to get null modem cable and upgrade stb with latest software for Openbo0x 5.33.

Ich traue mich (vorerst) wegen Garantie nicht das Image zu ändern.
Welche Möglichkeiten habe ich mit 4.99 Software?

Gar keine ohne ordentlicher Software bist aufgeschmissen. Ausser du hast ne ORF Card
