I have a receiver clone of Koscom SDC3510, mainboard SDC3500 rev 1.4.
How can I convert this receiver in aN OPENBOX?
It has 2 CI.
Can I load a soft for Openbox?
Must I load before Boot?

Yiu cannot convert this receiver into openbox. Different hardware.

im not sure, but i think that Koscom only has 1mb of memory. Openbox has 2mb. Once again, im not sure, but it might be possible to comvert it to openbox. But it would be quite dangerous because it all might end in having to use jtag.

Koscom and clones have:
Sti5518
2Mb flash

I know I converted my Challenger Unlimited II -> Sab Explorer CISC -> Openbox X820. Works perfectly.
Don't know about your Koscom though, I would say give it a try! I think if you have the wrong firmware it won't load it at all (refuses).

which updater you were useing,couse before i tried to convert phoenix appolo to openbox but that file was incorect for that ALL updater which we are using for originals openbox? thanks

With Allupdater you can patch only until version 5.01 or 5.03.
After this, you must use Jtag...

But, have you changed header of soft before load it in your Apollo?

I've heard this before, but im using allupdater with converted apollo and it still works with all latest patches
